Yesterday afternoon (03 August 2023), I had the honour of being invited by Ms Olivia Higgins from MooMoo Singapore to be on the latest episode of the ‘Playing with FIRE’, a monthly show by MooMoo Singapore, hosted by Ms Higgins herself, where she interview financial experts on their financial journey.

During the half hour session, I shared about:

Correction: During the video, when I was asked about how young investors can get started, I mentioned the can start off by investing in the Straits Times Index (STI) ETF, and that they only need to buy 100 shares to get started – I made a mistake there, because with effect from 17 January 2022, for ETFs listed on the Singapore Exchange, the minimum is just 1 share – meaning you only need S$3+, plus brokerage fees, to start investing in the STI ETF. Apologies for the error.
