After many months of hard work (including scrapping the first version of the book after I was done with the contents, simply because I wasn’t satisfied with it), I am happy to officially announce the release of my first book in ‘Building Your REIT-irement Portfolio’ today. 🙂

Building Your REIT-irement Portfolio

In this 178-page book, you will find everything you need to know to start building your REIT portfolio from scratch that can provide the income you need for your retirement years. On top of that, you will also find my responses to some of the burning questions about REIT investing.

In case you’re wondering, the entire process of taking this book from conceptualisation to production really wasn’t easy – Particularly on the printing of the books, and having them sent over to Singapore, as well as trying to get the local distributors to make my book available for sale in the local bookstores (unfortunately, despite all my efforts, I was rejected by all of them, with no reasons given – of course, I was disappointed by their decision.)

As such, you can only find this book here on this blog, as well as on InvestingNote (just ebook) and ShareInvestor (just physical book) at this point in time.

For the digital book, it is at S$15.00 (you will be able to download the PDF file and start reading immediately after payment), while for the physical book (limited copies available), it will cost S$25.00 + $2.00 for local mailing (if you reside outside Singapore and would like to get a copy of this book, please let me know here and I will see how I can arrange for the delivery to you).

You can find out more about the book, and place your order here.

If you have any questions, please let me know by sending me a message here – I will do my best to answer them.

Looking forward to your support in my first ever book. Thank you so much in advance! 🙂

REITs vs Banks: Which Investment Delivers More for Income Seekers?

REITs
vs. Singapore Banks - A Fireside Chat with The Singaporean Investor to Get Your Burning Questions Answered

If you thought 2025 was a wild ride for the stock market, wait until you see 2026! With not only the uncertainty of interest rate changes and geopolitical tensions but also a military operation by Israel and the United States against Iran, it's set to be even more turbulent.

So, with all this in mind, which is the better choice for income investors: REITs or banks?

I'm honoured to be re-invited by Dinah Poehlmann from Your Finance Mind for a fireside chat on Zoom this year, where I'll be sharing my insights on this topic.

Join me on Thursday, 19 March 2026, from 8pm to 9pm, as I offer my thoughts and answer any questions you may have.
